Motorcycle Tour Terms and Conditions of Service

Our Terms of Business will apply to your booking. Please read these carefully before reserving your placement.

Booking Deposit:

A Non-returnable deposit of £200.00 per person is required to secure your booking and is payable via Debit/Credit Card Bank Transfer. Our bank details are available upon request.  Superbike Tours will confirm your booking by way of email. On confirming you wish to take part in one of our tours this will your confirmation that you agree to our Terms & Conditions of Service.

Payment of Balance:

On receipt of your Tour deposit and completed booking form, Superbike Tours will send you an email confirmation; this will include details of your reservation and the Final Payment Date of which your balance must be paid.

The tour must be paid in full no later than 60 days before date of travel or your reservation will be cancelled. Payment can be made via credit/debit card or bank transfer.

Bookings made 60 days or less before departure will be accepted only with full payment. On receipt of final balance Superbike Tours will again confirm via email with full details of your tour.

Please note: please do not purchase international airline tickets until tour is confirmed by us!


Superbike Tours will organise and include full breakdown and recovery insurance. This will include repatriation of you and if applicable your passenger and the motorcycle back to our HQ in Essex. You are required to take out additional Medical Insurance and to obtain the new European Health Insurance Card which replaces the old E111 and is available free online or via the Post Office . This European Health Insurance Card covers the majority of medical fees in EC countries.

If Superbike Tours have to make changes to your booking:

It is sometimes necessary or unavoidable to change your booking. In the case of any major alteration Superbike Tours will notify you as soon as possible before your departure date. In the unlikely event that your tour can not take place due to the minimum number of places not being reached, you may accept an alternative tour or if you prefer you may cancel your booking. Superbike Tours will refund all monies paid by you in full.

Superbike Tours cannot be held liable for any compensation or expenses arising from the change in your booking. Once the tour has commenced Superbike Tours reserves the right to alter routes and accommodation at short notice due to circumstances beyond our control. In the unlikely event in this happening, Superbike Tours will notify at their earliest. If accommodation has to be changed Superbike Tours will endeavour to provide accommodation of at least the same standard.

Passport and Visa Requirements for European Tours:

A valid UK passport valued for a minimum six months after your return is required for visiting EC countries. If you or your passenger hold any other passport a visa may be required, and you should contact the appropriate office before travelling. Cancellation due to not being able to participate in any tour for not holding the correct/appropriate documentation will leave the tour member liable for full payment of the cost of the tour subject to your rights of cancellation set out in these terms.

Possibly Delays on European Tours:

In the event of extended delays, Superbike Tours will endeavour to secure an alternative crossing or route and cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen delays caused by: Weather, war, civil unrest, industrial action, blockades, failure of hoteliers, ferry operators or other suppliers. Superbike Tours cannot be held liable for any compensation or expenses arising from the delay in your tour. In the case of any delays you are responsible for providing your own meals and additional accommodation.

Participants Responsibility:

Participation in any tour is entirely at your own risk. Riders are also responsible at all times for any passengers/pillion travelling with them. Superbike Tours are not responsible for any of the following issues: Illness, injury due to accident, death to rider or pillion

Cancellation Fees:

Superbike Tours do not offer a refund on initial deposits nor full payment once this has been made.

Transfer of Booking:

If you are prevented from travelling for any reason you may transfer the booking to another person providing a minimum of 14 day’s notice is given.

Superbike Tours Responsibilities:

Superbike Tours endeavour to ensure that the suppliers of the services which you will receive during your tour are efficient reliable and of high standard. Superbike Tours will not and cannot be held responsible for any part of the tour which due to outside influences does not meet the standard advertised.

Tours are not for everyone, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Make sure you are a team player.  If not you will spoil everyone else's holiday.
  • At least 1 year heavy-weight motorcycle riding experience.
  • Able to ride up to 70 mp/h (112 km/h) at times, especially on motorways.
  • Ride up to 2 hours continuously at times.
  • We do not plan to ride in dark, be you must be prepared to do so.
  • Must catch up with group, cannot leave much distance between motorcycles. Cars will cut in and you could lose sight of the group and possibly get lost.
  • You are part of the group, not an individual rider anymore; you must act like you are in a group.
  • Cannot leave group while in formation, unless agree by Tour guide. 
  • Cannot continually change riding position in group while in formation.
  • In the event of a traffic jam you must be able to Filter, ride between other vehicles on centre white line.
  • Tour guide cannot copy images or do backup of your pictures.
  • Tour guide cannot charge your batteries.
  • If you notice the rider behind you is far behind please slow down - tour guide often do not see all the motorcycles but this way will it is easy to figure what to do.
  • Do not consume alcohol while riding.
  • Use helmets while riding.
  • You are free to ride ahead of group, even to the hotel of the current day if agreed by tour guide.
  • Park your motorcycles next to each other, even at parking we must look like a group. Use as little parking space as you can, typically 3 motorcycles on one car parking space.
  • Do not start/rev engines before departure in the morning, no need to warm up engines. Other guests at accommodation will find it disturbing.
  • Anti-Social Behaviour or Riding in any way or form will not be tolerated.  Anyone acting antisocial in any way will be removed from the tour and will not receive any type of refund.
