ISLE OF MAN SEPTEMBER 2011
Mark, Jack & Ben from Superbike Rental, unfortunately had to go on a business trip to the Isle of Man!!!!! The job consisted of running in 2 x BMW F800 GS’s, checking out the Manx Grand Prix and having a quick recci of the Island. The reports back to the office included, “they were over worked”, “exhausted”, “hungry” and “bored”. Obviously with jobs as hard as this, they will all be handing in their notice!!!!
All jokes aside the BMW F800’s were good fun. The Island is a great place, people are bike friendly, loads of scenery - if you like that sort of thing – we preferred the views at the bars in Douglas!! Of course the Isle of Man TT Mountain Course had to have a few visits, it was a blast!

BIKING BRIGADIER GOES TO LONDON OCTOBER 2010
Mark from Superbike Rental was lucky enough to be invited to join Brigadier Richard Dennis OBE ADC, the Army’s Director of Infantry, on the London section of his tour of the nation's Regimental Head Quarters on his motorcycle to personally slap the backs of the men and women of the infantry and raise money and awareness for the Army Benevolent Fund, The Soldiers charity.
From 1 to 10 October, Brigadier Richard Dennis OBE ADC stopped at many of the 17 Regimental Head Quarter’s (RHQs) and the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas in Staffordshire, where he took part in the annual Service of Remembrance. At each RHQ he met some of those soldiers and families who have been supported by the Fund and highlighted the vital role the headquarters play in recruiting, distributing benevolence, organising the repatriation of the Infantry’s dead, the long term care of their wounded and, critically, providing help with finding a second career when they leave the Army.
We met up with Brigadier Richard Dennis OBE ADC at the Thurrock Services. It was a glorious day and great place for a coffee. It was at Thurrock that the Essex Police handed the group over to the Metropolitan Police Diplomatic Protection Group who escorted us through London. Richard said “This will probably be the only time I will ever be able to get across London without any traffic problems”.
On arrival to our destination at Wellington Barracks we were greeted by The Band of the Irish Guards and Queen’s Company of the First Battalion The Grenadier Guards. We did not expect such a welcome and the local tourists wondered what was happening as 10 bikers were greeted on the parade square!

Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st September 2008, at The East of
England Show Ground, Peterborough.
Once again we exhibited in the indoor trade lot 74 & 75. Done
this thinking that it would rain, messed up big time as the sun
shone all weekend!
Another quiet show but the atmosphere, as usual, was great, at
Peterborough. Took the time to meet some great contacts such as
Mal from Bike Colours, Wayne from Buff Wear, Les from Traveldri-plus
and all the lads from UK FMX Freestyle mx team, Off Road World and

GEMS
SHOW 2008
Saturday 31st May & Sunday 1st June 2008, at The Kent Show
Ground, Detling, Kent.
This year The Garden of England Show shared the grounds with Truckfest.
Not sure if this was a good idea and opinions were mixed. Met some
great peeps including David from Adventure Peru Motorcycling and
the guys from BMW Park Lane.
This was a quiet show and it seemed that the trucks put on a better
display than us bikers! The star of the show had to be SWAMP THING.

THE
NATIONAL BIKE SAFE MOTORCYCLE SHOW 2008.
The Met Police obviously worked very hard and put on a great show.
Unfortunately for all of us, police, exhibitors, clubs, organizations
and the general public, the weather really affected moral with heavy
rain and violent winds. The ground was like a bog and many people
were put off from attending due to the weather. Despite this a reported
17000 motorcyclists attended.
The exhibitors and Police all soldiered on to do their best and
all in all we had a great weekend, shame about the weather.

BMF
SHOW 2007
19th & 20th May 2007, East of England Showground, Peterborough.
This is the largest outdoor motorcycle event in Europe.
After two years of poor weather, the sun finally shone on the
crowds at this year’s BMF Show, a welcome reward to mark the
show’s 30th year at Peterborough’s East of England Showground.
Over 70,000 people attended over the weekend and although slightly
down on the Saturday due to an unavoidable clash with the FA Cup
Final, Sunday went a long way to counter this with a marked increase
in attendance resulting in a very healthy 72,874 through the gates
over the weekend.
Fantastic atmosphere and great time had by all. More
