Superbike Rental BMW HP4 Carbon BMW S1000RR HP4 Carbon Edition

With the HP4 Carbon comes another first for Superbike Rental!

Proud to lead where others follow, the team at Superbike Rental is delighted to be in proud possession of a brand new BMW S1000RR HP4 Carbon edition, which takes ultimate performance one step further.

Keen motorbike enthusiasts will be well aware of the exceptional reputation the original BMW HP4 has; known for its ‘pure performance’, this exclusive motorcycle boasts impressive power, unbelievable handling and extreme lightness in the first 4-cylinder model of the HP series. Consisting of the finest modern materials, the HP4 features the supersports sector’s lightest 4-cylinder engine, a maximum torque of 112 Nm and a massive forward thrust with an output of 142 kW.

The BMW HP4 is also one of the most technologically advanced motorbikes on the market, with the world’s first dynamic suspension system DDC (Dynamic Damping Control), with various automatic modes – including Rain, Sport, Slick and Race – for additional control and enhanced rider experience.

Autotrader’s Roland Brown stated, “The standard S1000RR was already arguably the world’s fastest and best super-sports bike. The HP4 takes its road and track performance to a new level, and its semi-active suspension adds further sophistication. This is motorcycling’s state of the art in 2013.”

And now, with the BMW S1000RR HP4 Carbon, riders can enjoy the ultimate High Performance experience. Weighing just 169 kg, it certainly makes a lasting impression; with all the attributes you would see in the original, the Carbon edition also comes with a range of exclusive additions:

• HP brake lever
• HP clutch lever
• HP rider footrest system
• Carbon closed HP engine spoiler
• Carbon HP plate holder
• Carbon HP fuel tank trim

And with aluminium forged wheels in Racing blue, sponsor sticker kit and its uniquely numbered, High Performance fork bridge engraving, it is quite simply, a truly stunning motorcycle.

Only a limited number of HP4 Carbon edition models have been manufactured, due to limited availability of quality carbon components and the intricate manufacturing process. Usually priced at £19,350 on the road, with Superbike Rental, you have the opportunity to experience the power and sophistication of the BMW HP4 Carbon without having to remortgage your house.

From a single day for £200 to weekly rental at £695*, our prices are inclusive of VAT and fully comprehensive insurance.

Why hire a HP4 when you can rent a HP4 Carbon edition? Please call Superbike Rental on 01277 366 602 to find out more.

* Please note that you must be at least 30 years old to hire the BMW S1000R HP4 Carbon.

Superbike Ducati Multistrada 1200 S Granturismo

New to Superbike Rental – the Ducati Multistrada 1200 S Granturismo

Here at Superbike Rental, we have a wide range of adventure and touring motorcycles available to hire, including the Ducati 1200 Multistrada 2011 and 2012 models. We are delighted to announce that this April, we are introducing the brand new Ducati Multistrada 1200 S Granturismo. Embodying the touring spirit of the Multistrada series, Total Motorcycle commented that ‘the Granturismo boasts a number of additions and enhancements that clearly underline its status as the flagship tourer of the family’.

The Granturismo combines the Multistrada series’ tried and trusted 73-litre panniers, top case and world renowned Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) with even more touring-orientated ergonomics than ever before. The Ducati Performance Comfort Seat and a built-in back rest ensures rider comfort on long journeys. The bar-risers are 20mm higher, resulting in a more upright riding position, improved posture and increased ease-of-handling when the motorcycle is fully loaded.

Other touring-orientated features fitted as original equipment include tubular steel engine protection bars, Pirelli Angel GT tyres, heated grips, hands-free technology and added LED, aluminium-cased spotlights. When lit, these spotlights both enhance peripheral illumination to aid travel through unknown or poorly lit areas, and increase the visibility of the motorcycle to other road users.

In terms of storage capacity, the Granturismo comes with 73 litre side luggage, a 48 litre top case and internal soft bags.

Four bikes in one

Whatever the riding conditions, no matter how long the journey, with the Ducati Multistrada 1200 S Granturismo’s ‘four bikes in one’ philosophy, you will enjoy a safe, efficient, comfortable yet exhilarating ride.

Four pre-set, customised Riding Modes – Sport, Touring, Urban and Enduro – instantly change the Granturismo’s power and torque delivery with just one click, whether you’re at a standstill or in motion.

Suspension settings, traction control, ABS and Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) can be electronically adjusted to suit the rider and environment with even greater precision.

Touring meets passion

Are you ready to ‘ride the world’? Superbike Rental’s hire prices include VAT and fully comprehensive insurance; please call us on 01277 366 602 to find out more.

Superbike the isle of Man tt race 2013 25 may to 7 june (2)

It’s just over a month to go until the 2013 Isle of Man TT!

Famed for being one of the most prestigious motorcycle events in the world, the International Isle of Man TT Race is scheduled to take place from May 25th until June 7th 2013.

The first Isle of Man TT was held in 1907 and won by Charles Collier at an average race speed of 38.21mph; since then, there have been 93 races, with a record 26 won by world champion motorcyclist, Joey Dunlop. Other, more recent competitors and winners include Bruce Ansty, Michael Dunlop, Guy Martin, Ian Hutchinson, Michael Rutter, Ryan Farquhar and John McGuinness, who, in 2009, took the lap record with an average speed of 131.578mph and became the first rider to break the 130mph limit on the course.

The race is run in a time-trial format on public roads, called the Mountain Course. It starts in Douglas on the south east coast, sweeps to the west and north through Ramsey on the north east coast, taking in more than 200 bends and 37 ¾ miles before returning to Douglas to complete the lap.

During the TT, the Isle of Man takes on a ‘carnival’ atmosphere similar to the Tour de France, with many of the island’s roads closed and crowds picnicking around the circuit as they watch the action unfold. For the ultimate TT experience, you must watch at least one session from the TT Grandstand in Douglas. Adjacent to the paddock, you are able to watch the teams at work, see the machines being inspected, meet some of the competitors and watch them being interviewed by the press. The Grandstand offers unrivalled views of the start and finish line, as well as the 170mph stretch towards Bray Hill.

There are also many locals, businesses and charities that open their doors to spectators, with special areas, grandstands and facilities such as refreshments and toilets available in return for a small entrance fee or donation. Areas such as these, including the famed Braddan Bridge area, offer great views of the course, plus a unique insight into island life.

Based in Brentwood, Essex, Superbike Rental is the UK’s number one motorcycle hire company. Every year we have customers from both the UK and overseas booking our bikes to take across to the Isle of Man to watch the TT. For many racing enthusiasts, the TT is more than a race – it is an iconic piece of British motorcycling history, and many of our bikes have been reserved for this year’s event since the moment the 2012 TT ended! Bookings have come from as far away as India, Mexico, South Africa and Australia!

Superbike Rental offers an airport pick-up service, which means that wherever you are travelling from, you can arrange for your bike to be waiting for you at any of the London airports, ready for you to make your way to Heysham or Liverpool to take the ferry across to Douglas.

We have limited availability for motorbike hire for the Isle of Man TT 2013; please call Superbike Rental on 01277 366 602 for further information.

If its good enough for James Bond 007 … its good enough for SUPERBIKE RENTAL.

Skyfall the newest James Bond movie that everybody is talking about has some interesting motorcycle chase sequences.

The motorcycle used is a disguised Honda CRF 250 and its thoroughbred motocross DNA enables it to easily scamper through the roofs. As much as a hundred of these bikes were used during the shoot and all the stunting was done by Robbie Maddison who is a freestyle motorcycle rider and has a lot of records for the longest jumps on a motorcycle.

Jack from SUPERBIKE RENTAL has had the ‘James Bond’ motorbike, the Honda CRF 250 to play with the last few days. SUPERBIKE RENTAL love it! An ideal ride to work, great fun, great green laner and under £4000!
