Honda VFR 800 F (2014) Motorcycle Hire

New for 2014

Honda VFR 800 F (2014) Honda VFR 800 F

Honda’s New VFR800F, 22 Pounds Lighter and More Power! We know that the legion of VFR800F fans know exactly what they like about their bike and also what they'd like more or less from a new model. They want a high-quality motorcycle with strong low and mid-range torque, light and slim but just as capable and adaptable, with a return to the evocative look and feel of VFRs of the past. Are there still VFR faithful out there? Honda has not forgotten you. A new VFR800F went on display in Milan, Featuring new styling, including a single, underslung exhaust and new bodywork. The new VFR800F has a much simplier, cleaner look, and it loses 22 pounds in the process versus last year’s European model. Claimed wet weight (fully fueled) is now down to 525 pounds. Peak horsepower is 106.

A new fork, new swingarm, and wheels go along with adjustable seat height and a standard traction control system. Also standard is ABS, heated grips and self-cancelling turn signals.

The v-4 soul gets tweaked for an increase in low and mid-range power. Revised ergonomics, including a “significantly slimmer waist”, together with the weight loss, should make the bike feel more nimble.

The headlights are LEDs, as is the tail light. Instrumentation is also new, and now includes a gear position indicator, ambient temperature and fuel consumption information.

The waiting is over - the new VFR800F is here.

MCN Review

In the late 90s the old VFR800 was a great bike but needed updating. Its replacement, the Honda VFR800 V-Tec, is a beautiful thing and rides, goes and handles superbly too, but the Honda VFR800 V-Tec's variable valve timing caused some controversy - it's clever, but is it really necessary?

"I wanted to thank you for the photo that you sent and more importantly for the honesty and professionalism that you and your colleagues exhibited during our interaction.

On top of that the bike itself was in excellent condition and we had absolutely no issues with it. What more can one ask for.

Look forward to seeing you again next year."

"I would just like to say thank you for the great week I spent with your VFR1200.

Once again, I have been impressed with your friendly, professional service and a spotless bike.

I have ridden and liked Honda's VFR800 but the 1200 is the big brother of the pair in every sense. The VFR1200 is no lightweight sports bike but couple a decent frame and suspension with excellent brakes and that V4 engine and the result is a really capable machine.

The biggest surprise is that the moment you set off all the bulk seems to disappear and the Honda becomes responsive and almost agile. Add to this the huge reserves of power from the big V4 and it makes every ride a real pleasure with very little difference whether it is solo or two up and loaded.

My only problem for the future is that I think the blend of comfort and usable power the Honda offers might just become addictive."

"I wanted to say a personal thanks for the hire of the two motorcycles I hired over the past week.

it's been a pleasure dealing with you and your company, and right from the start with your willingness to accommodate my request for specific bikes as much as possible.

The bikes I hired were both latest models and all presented like new and reliable throughout the hire.

I must say I appreciated the efficient response to all my queries, a very professional and personal approach. So I will have no hesitation in recommending your service to my friends when I return to Bahrain, and perhaps we'll see you for the IOM TT next year."

"We used Superbike Rental for our recent Motorcycle trip around Europe and I have to say from the very first contact via e-mail up to being chauffer driven back to Brentwood station at the end of our trip, their service was nothing but excellent.

They provided us with our initial quote in a timely fashion, whilst two other companies didn't even respond to our enquiries!

The VFR-800 we hired was in good condition and caused us no problems in 3700 miles we covered. We will definitely use them again"
