The GS Adventurer is excellent on road and off, its just the job for going round the block or round the world. The R1200 GS comes complete with long suspension travel and an array of crash protection bars, a huge 33 litre fuel tank for an acclaimed 450 mile range, a perfect screen, onboard computer, abs brakes, heated grips and spot lamps. It weighs 223kg, the suspension is three inches taller than the standard R1200GS and with a 33-litre tank full of fuel you need to be Britain’s strongest man to lift it off the side stand. But in reality it’s one of the best mile-eating bikes money can buy and one of the quirkiest, most interesting bikes on the road today. In fact we absolutely love it. Dealing with Superbike from start to finish was a real pleasure, they have a great range of bikes on offer. As we were venturing to Europe and needed some advice as to what we needed to take Superbike gave us all the information we needed to ensure we were fully compliant with all the requirements for each country we were to visit.
The bikes were great, fully serviced and with new tyres.
During our trip I was contemplating buying another bike but concluded, when I can take my pick of these bikes and not have to worry about the servicing, insurance, depreciation and garaging of a bike why bother owning one!!
